Mark Webb at Woodward
Posted by: Joey
A video of Mark Webb riding woodward before he came up to Salinas, watching this makes me want to get on my bike, he makes everything look so easy.
Webb's a badass...

England Invades Salinas
Posted by: Joey
It seemed like not even a month ago I was in England and Germany hanging out with Mark Webb and Remo... They were out for the X-Games and staying until Portland Dew Tour.
They put in some time at Woodward and came up for a BBQ before heading up North.
Vail Quin Mardesich
Posted by: Joey
Mat Mardesich and his fiance Jackie Vail had a baby girl today. Knowing Mat since 7th grade and all the shit he's gotten into, I can't believe this day is here.
When it comes down to it, Vail Quin Mardesich is in great hands and I'm looking forward to hearing Mat's stories about being fathersich.
Solid AA Custom
Posted by: Joey
Last week I went up to Solid and had a AA built with SuperTherm tubing and can't wait to get it together. As soon as it gets built it's going in a bike bag
and heading with me to Germany... The welds Jace did on the frame are near perfect and as soon as my cassette hub comes in I'll be able to kick 2001 to the curb and
ride a decent frame from 09... Solid rules...

Nyquist Turns 30

Ryan Nyquist turned 30, a night of hollow strawberries filled with Malibu, plenty of silver cold things, and a guitar hero match between Shea and Tony Campos.
New Hope Church Youth Jam
Posted by: Joey
New Hope Church Youth Jam put on a free jam, sponsored by Shadow Conspiracy, Fit Bikes, and S&M. Session was decent from behind the lens since
I broke my finger. Brandon York, Joey Cobbs, Mike Gleaton and Mat Mardesich showed up for a quick session before the organized jam. Since this is our first
video, I am curious to see the differences in video hosts, free vs. paid. Below is smugmug, then vimeo...

Chunky Saturday

Chunky Sunday
Posted by: Joey
Another evening spent at the trails next to to the ocean, except this time I was able to ride and made it to the bottom of the hill.
Chunky Hills is big, it's fast... Can't wait til the next session...
Soil in SF
Posted by: Joey
Barspinner, Ricky Rat and the rest of the Soil crew were in SF doing a show at the 49ers game. First football game I've been to and it wasn't bad from the
front row...
Chunky Hills

A handful of people can accomplish amazing things. Nothing beats an evening riding trails built by hand with the sun resting over the ocean...
Santa Rosa
Posted by: Joey
Cruised up to Santa Rosa to pick up car parts and stopped by the park, it's been a long time since I've been there, and it's finally not a bust. Got there before the kids got out from
school, so the park was dead until 2:30. Still worth the drive, the park has a lot of lines and many temptations that can easily snap your rear wheel.
Meet The Street
Posted by: Joey
Treasure Island was the site of the MTS contest, the ramp layout probably the largest ramp setup 2hip has used thanks to Terrain-Parks.com 10 year ramp collection of parks that fell
through. If you never rode Skatestation in Monterey, or Felton ramps, or the Specialized ramps, today you could in one parking lot. The ramps were old and ribs broke, but we had a good time
watching people from our fold-up chairs... SJBMX posted a decent video of the riding...
Scars Bday
Posted by: Elliott
Yesterday was OLDSCARS birthday, Happy Birthday again Oscar. Thanks a lot for introducing me to BMX, letting me ride the ramp as much as possible and always supporting,
teaching me, all that good stuff. So, I got there around 12 o clock, was super stoked to ride, since I havent been able to in almost a month! Cory, Chaz, Jeremy, Cody and
I were sessioning the ramp for a good half hour then, the crowd started moving in, Dakota, Dustin, Mat, Beerman, Pat, Shea, HUGO and many more shredders were there killin it!
Ron W. also stopped by, always a good face to see. Dakota and Pat were killin the sub box doing lots of tech things. Scar was blasting airs left and right, always good to see
him ride. Mardesketch was talkin crap as usual, but also was riding super good. Fuf to ice the sub box was sweet. Unfortunately I hurt my knee half way through the sesh on 540,
but some how managed to finsh riding the day. Food was great, everybody was gettin hammered and Oscars a year older. Heres a few shots from it that Cory shot, I was having too
much fun riding. Haha Later,
Elliott.
Gilroy Contest
Posted by: Joey
Showed up for last bit of the Gilroy contest, seemed to be run in jam format, super relaxed. Mike Gleaton seems to be getting some decent experience organizing the events, I'm sure
he'll have some brilliant ideas in the near future. Youth group setting meant a clean environment and plenty of kids scrambling around. Cover shot is Cory McKerrow.
Morgan Hill
Posted by: Elliott
What's up! Shot these the other day at Morgan Hill Skatepark, I live pretty close to it, we werent there too long but got these. I learned turndown airs...
Transworld 150th issue party
Posted by: Joey
Wednesday morning, woke up and decided to make the drive to Tustin for the 150th issue party at Transworld. Many legends were in attendance; Blyther, Clymer, Jesse Puente, Moeller, Gonz.
On the way to the bar I tried to tire slide a curb and ended up getting ejected over the sidewalk and a 3 ft grass section, straight into the gutter. Nice.
Stonegate
Posted by: Elliott
We went out to stonegate yesterday, and I was doing hop bars off a ledge and got knocked out, concussion right now. So not so stoked, ahaha, but yeah heres some photos of
Cory Mckerrow and I, shot by Cody Brown.
